Weeks ago, I had my tea time at Sushi Zanmai in One-Utama. Sushi Zanmai and Pasta Zanmai is the same restaurant but they separate to two, Sushi Zanmai sells Sushi, while Pasta Zanmai sells Pasta. I’ve dined in Pasta Zanmai for few times before, I love their Chicken Cheesy Pasta and Teri Chicken Pizza. So, I went to Sushi Zanmai for my tea break, we’d tried some of the Sushi only. They have other outlets in The Gardens and Sunway Pyramid as well.

* Una Tama, Inari & Tuna Salad – I simply like the Una Tama, it consists of unagi & Omelette. The Inari Sushi consists of sweet beancurd, not too sweet and quite nice.

* FutoMaki – It consists of pickled radish, omelettle & cucumber. All the ingredients are fresh.

* Chicken Gyoza – It’s pan-seared chicken & vegetable dumpling. You can actually get this dishes from other restaurant such as Hong Kong Restaurant, the price is cheaper than this. I can even get it in Ming Tien Hawker Center.

* Salmon Salad Maki – I didn’t have it, my gf’s sister ordered it. But the outlook seems nice, should be nice to eat.

* California Roll – It consists of avocado, crab meat & omelette with smelt roe. My gf ordered it. She said all the ingredients are fresh and it’s delicious.

* Wet Tissue which has their logo and name.

* This is the thing that I wanna show you, it’s located at the last page of the menu. It stated “Actual food presentation may differ from picture“. I just want to say that they’re actually very honest about it, all the foods served were really different from the pictures, all the foods served were smaller than the pictures.

* There is many types of sushi for your choices.

They have variety of sushi and dishes, we were just trying their sushi as our tea break. It was just okay, but you can have a try over there as well. The price is slightly cheaper than other Japanese Restaurant, but the price is equal to the size of foods. So, have you dined in Sushi Zanmai before?

* Lou Sang Section – They served Lou Sang because the time we were there was nearby Chinese New Year. You’d to pay for the Lou Sang, it was not free 1. I just think Lou Sang in Garden Palace Seafood Restaurant is much more better.

* The cook was cooking those dishes which had been ordered by customers.

* Sushi Section – Most of the Sushi had been grabbed by others, but they were producing new Susi non-stop.

* Roasted Mutton – We’d tried one small plate, quite delicious.

* Fried Onion Ikan Bilis

* Dim Sum Section – But I didn’t take any food over here.

* Mutton – After that we took mutton to try as well. Quite nice.

* Desert Section – There was a lot of desert such as cookies, cheese cake, Haagen Dazs ice cream, Pudin, Mua Chi and etc. I don’t think you can try each of them. It’s too many!

* So I just picked some of them.

* Tea Section – They had many different types of tea, my friend mixed them all together, but quite nice too, the tea that my friend made had a strong rose taste, very nice to drink. It cleaned our stomach after so many heavy foods too!

* There is few different types of wain put at the entrance. Perhaps you can buy them home and taste it.

I had a very good time in Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant, but in term of the quality of foods, some of them were nice but some of them were not that fresh. So, have your meal there and try your luck! Read also Part One.

So, I had my company division dinner in Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant last month. Tenji is a Japanese Buffet Restaurant that located in Mont Kiara, Tenji serves a lot of great and unique Japanese foods. They have a few clips on your table, you might need to put the clip on some of the bowl for the dishes (Only certain dishes) that you want to order. After that, foods will be serving to your table in minutes. I believe that you’re not interest to listen grandma story, right? So, we just go for the foods and photos over there.

* Tenji is in the 2nd floor.

* There is a pond nearby the entrance.

* Beer Bar – They only serve Carlsberg. But I didn’t see the beer bar opens, perhaps it’s only for certain customers.

* Coconut – Very nice drinks, we simply had 4-5 of this coconut.

* Bun – I ate it together with 2 different cheese, it was just normal because it was not as soft as I thought.

* Butter Cheese Fish – A recommended dish. The fish was fresh, the cheese was so aromatic, you must had it if you’re going to dine over there.

* Butter Mushroom Crab – Quite delicious, the crab was full of cheese and mushroom, I took 2 and I finished it.

* Fried Chicken – Hmm, just okay. Not that nice.

* Fried Prawn – It was quite nice, you can have one and forget about it because you can have other nicer foods.

* Mushroom Mussel – I quite like this, the taste was good.

* Octopus – I walked a few rounds only saw it, I always ordered it. But, it was disappointed about this. The sauce was too sticky, and the taste was just normal. I was not having the 2nd pieces.

* Oyster – I didn’t eat it because I don’t take raw food. But my friends had few and they said it was fresh and sweet.

* Raw Tiger Prawn – I didn’t know it was raw and when I had my first bite on the prawn head, I surrendered.

* Seafood Noodle – My gf had it and she said it was tasteless. She left it after the first bite too.

* Shisamo – It was a little fish which was called Shisamo. It was my first time having it, I had 4-5 strings, quite delicious!

* Octopus Sushi – I was not having a lot of Sushi, I just had one because I didn’t want to waste the chance of having other nice foods.

* Sweet Sauce Chicken – It was like Chinese Cuisine sweet sauce chicken, it was quite delicious.

* Tiger Prawn Soup – I didn’t have it, nobody finished it too. Perhaps it was just normal.

* Unagi – Oh my god! I had a lot of this, it’s my favourite! But then they only served one small pieces for 1 clip. So we put quite a few times, I love this!

* Scallop – I just had one, quite nice and sweet.

* Espresso – Okay, take a break and have second round! My friend made it for me, very dense and bitter.

It was my friend’s birthday, my senior said treat him eat and she asked me joined together. So, I got the chance to try new foods in umaiya! First, I have to thanks my senior for treating me and I have to thanks my friend for his birthday too haha!

* Chopstick from Umaiya. Don’t think too much, recycle chopstick not from Umaiya, only the chopstick paper cover from Umaiya. lol!

* That was a very cute plate! Not only for children but for adult as well.

* Erm..normal thing..you can eat and drink them if you like too..=)

* It’s a very nice Tea Pot, classic and look cool!

* Actually we were sitting downstair but the seat at downstair don’t have the void to rest our leg and we had to bend our leg like what you saw in Japanese movie. So, we requested to move to upstair which had a void to rest our leg.

* It’s a Children Set that my senior’s boyfriend ordered. He is kinda cute and funny guy, but the Children Set looked delicious too. The Children Set came with garlic fried rice, chicken nugget, sushi, egg, steam egg, tomato, and…. kid’s lover … VITAGEN!! It’s a very healthy set, especially for children!

* Oh my god! It’s my favourite food! It’s Salmon Fish with rice, my friend (Birthday boy) ordered it as well. I love Salmon Fish very very much, but some people don’t like it because of the fish like snake. lol!

* Sushi set – Soft Skin Crab. Very special sushi, I like this very much!

* Sushi Set – Makimono. This sushi set like a dragon, of course it’s not dragon meat but crab meat. It’s something like soft skin crab, just a little bit different in term of the taste. I like them both, very special and delicious!

We had 4 people taken the meal in Umaiya together, it’s only cost us about RM150.00++ with all the nice and delicious Japanese food. It’s not expensive at all because the food worth this price, and it’s my senior and her boy friend treat us eat, worth it! I personally love Japanese food, the birthday boy love sushi very much too.

After the meal, we read on the menu again and realized that they had an offer that you just have to addon RM1.00 to get 1 California Roll (The original price will be around RM5-6 if I’m not mistaken). Great! California Roll is my favourite too, so we order 2, 1 for me and 1 for birthday boy. This offer available if you had ordered the specified meal that listed in the menu (the offer page).

I would rate it 9/10 among all the Japanese Restaurant. It’s nice and I love the taste, I recommend you to visit them, their restaurant is located at Uptown. Address as below :

Ok, so we ordered some foods that we never ate before. We have 4persons, so we order 2 pasta and 2 side dishes. I love their pasta, really .. especially the Cream-S Asari K Pasta (with cheese!!), we asked the waitress gave us some cheese, then she took the whole cheese and peel it with a thing, the Pasta full of cheese !! Oh my god..damn nice !!

Then we order a seafood pasta called Yaki-Pasta Seafood. Then our side dishes were AG Ika Geso (Fried Sotong) and AG Tori Karaage (Chicken) ! Both also nice, as i can say, GREAT !!

* Cream-S Asari K Pasta @ Rm25 (Mushroom, Lala, cream + Cheese ! My Godness !! Damn Nice !! Recommended !)

* Yaki-Pasta Seafood @ Rm25 (Sotong + Big Prawn !! The prawn is really big … taste good !)

* AG Ika Geso @ Rm12 (It’s fried Sotong, very nice but a little bit too salty, but it’s nice !)

* AG Tori Karaage @ Rm15 (It’s chicken, very cripy and tasty!)

* Itachoco Monaka @ Rm8 ( Our desert after meal ! A biscuit with ice cream and chocolate, very nice !!)

* Green Tea @ Rm3.00 (The small glass very cute, haha! Because they have not enough glass already, so he said sorry and give us this, haha !!) This is my gf and 2friends green tea, i didn’t drink it.

* Passion F.Soda @ Rm6.00 (It’s my drinks, Apple soda ^^)

* Their drinks menu, look very sharp very nice right ? Haha ! It’s free to see haha!

* Dessert menu, oh my … there are variety of dessert !! We don’t know what to order so, cincai (simply) order one lor … lucky the simply order also very nice !

I very enjoy the lunch in Pasta Zanmai ! Their environment, foods, drinks are very nice and delicious ! The price ok also, not too expensive.
Total we spent Rm108.10 (with 10% service charge and 5% Government Tax) for this meal. (Rm108.10 ÷ 4 = Rm27++ each persons only) Worth it !! Give it a try !!

The restaurant at downstair in Old Wing 1, but i don’t know how to describe it, maybe you can find “Pasta Zanmai” on the directory.

The place was open at 5pm, but the memorial ceremony start from 7pm – 10pm.  So we (my friends and me) reached there at about 6.30pm, and the memorial ceremony started at sharp 7pm. Japanese very punctual !!

* There were few Japanese children present their perfomance with the drums.

* Oh my god ! There were a lot of peoples, what they did here ? Queeu-ing and buying food lor .. We are one of them too.

* Sushi King. The place was damn small but Sushi King sold their Sushi here. See how they ate ..

* Sushi King, all peoples standing there and enjoy their Sushi, but really enjoy bor ??

* We were queeu-ing from day until night. The peoples kept coming, full already lar !!

* This was what the food we queeu-ing for about 1hour !! Called “Zhang yu Shao” (Mandarin). My friends said very nice before we bought it, but all said “damn” after eat ! Expensive + bad ! Rm7 per string !

* This is what i mentioned just now. “Zhang Yu Shao” (1hour bad food) ! Rm7 per string !

* We took photo together. lol ! Only my fan is different face, i now only realize haha !

* My friends said i not dare to ask Japanese Family to take photo together, then i did it !! Haha..So we took photo together with one of the Japanese Family !

Tell you the truth, i’m not very enjoy the Bon Odori, because there was crowded with peoples and very hot ! But I enjoy come out with friends lar =)
