A Taiping guy personal rants and Malaysia Food blog
I’m going back hometown last few days, and i have eat a lot different and nice food in my hometown..i did not forget to take a picture and share with you all ^^ Give it a try if you would like to ^^

Taiping is not only a rain town, it’s a small food heaven as well. Taiping is a place where you can get a lot of good foods in cheaper price. I have eaten most of the good foods in Taiping because Taiping is my hometown, but currently I further my study in KL. Chinese New Year is coming soon which is on next week, I’ll take this opportunity to try more good foods, snap some photos and share it with you guys.
There is a food court which is located in Taiping Town, for those who know Taiping, I think they should know where is 菜市, we also call it “Cai Chi” (Hokkien). Many of us call it “Downstair of Larut Matang” also, it’s just opposite to Taiping Jaya Supermarket. There is a lot of good foods in this food court, I used to eat the Fried Fish Ball Koay Teow there.

Actually this all food are tasty..i love them too..you can eat but don’t always..it can bring risk to your healthy.. read through what this all food affect your health…^^

1) Doughnuts
There are alot of brand and favor of doughnut out there. It’s hard for us to resist the smell of a Krispy Kreme doughnut, which is why I never step foot in the store. Doughnuts are fried chock-full of sugar and white flour and loads of trans fat.
According to the Krispy Kreme website(Google it up), “an average 3.5 ounce sugar doughnut weighs in with about 400 calories and contains few other nutrients besides fat. These sugary treats may satisfy your craving but it won’t satisfy your hunger as most of the calories come from fat. “
‘”Eating a lot of refined sugar contributes to blood sugar ‘swings’ or extreme fluctuations,’”eDiets Chief Nutritionist Susan Burke said.
So, it’s almost the same with doughnuts in Malaysia such as Dunkin’ Donut. You can eat but don’t always and don’t eat too much. Take care of your health ^^

Their food is not bad especially their “Lin Ngao Yok Beng Fan”(Cantonese)..Forgot the name in English =.=”..it’s something like rice with pork and vege and egg..the pork is a little bit salty and the taste is good..price very common..it’s around Rm11.50 ^^
I order another dishes called “Pai Kuat Choi Fan”(Cantonese) for myself..it’s rice with Pai Kuat(pork) + vege..the Pai Kuat (pork) a little bit sweet and sour taste..recommended ^^ It’s around Rm10.50 !
